Digg rolls out some new features

Digg, the ever so popular “user driven social content website”, has released some pretty cool features today.  Check out the video overview for a demo of the new features.  Kevin Rose does a great job quickly explaining what you can now do with Digg.

veotag shows by example

Veotag is an exciting new service that lets you display clickable text, called ‘veotags’ within an audio or video file”.  They have great sample videos of the end result but nothing showing how to use their service.  It’s still nice to get a feel of what veotag can do though.  You have to click on “samples” in order to view the videos.

TonicPoint does more then they show

TonicPoint is a tool to help you create, edit, present, and store your presentations online.  There is a demo showing you how to use the TonicPoint editor, but isn’t there a lot more to TonicPoint then that?

Scrapblog can help a scrapbooker save money!

I was wandering around a craft store one day and came upon the “scrapbooking” section. I could not believe how many people filled the isles picking out stickers and fancy paper to make their scrapbooks. ” With Scrapblog, you can easily create stunning multimedia scrapbooks featuring your photos, videos, audio, and a bunch of creative elements”. Seriously. Scrapblog is really cool and easy to use. There is a demo the CEO of scrapblog created here, and then they have another very quick and informative one on their website. They both made me want to try out the service immediately even though I’m really not the scrapbooking type.

GeoBeats makes me want to travel

This isn’t necessarily a demo video but more of an overview of what GeoBeats is.  It’s quick, it’s exciting, and it tells you that GeoBeats is a place to find cool and informative videos about international travel.  It also reminds me of my goal to backpack through Europe before I turn thirty.

ZCubes wants you to know how to use their service

ZCubes is the world’s first website that seamlessly integrates browsing, searching, editing, painting, freehand drawing, cursive hand-writing, audio-video media management, publishing, and much more into a pure browser-based platform”. Whew! The demo was informative but a little hard for me to follow. The nice thing is that they have a video demo along with screenshots and great help pages.

dotSUB lets you join in

dotSUB is “a set of unique browser tools for subtitling film from one language into any other language”.  Their own description of their service is not very detailed but their demo for how and why to use the site is great because it allows you to interact as you’re watching it.

BlueTie is hiding something

BlueTie provides “email, calendaring, and sharing for your business”.  They offer a demo that you can view after clicking on a link at the bottom of their homepage or on their support page.  It’s very helpful and informative but I’m a little confused.  At the end of the demo the man with the nice voice claims that you can view more demos and tutorials.  Nice man, where are these other demos?
