Raise your hand if you use the Internet

MapMyName is a project created by two students from Aveiro University in Portugal. The goal? To find out exactly how many people use the Internet by having them take a spot on a Google map. One month is how long the project is supposed to run and with just under 12,000 people accounted for I thought I’d do my part to help spread the word. Here’s my screencast tour of MapMyName:

MindMeister – Online Mind Mapping and collaboration

MindMeister is a Mind Mapping tool that makes creating a Mind Map easy. It has a smooth drag and drop interface, auto-save, and real time collaboration. You can add your Skype ID and start conference calls while editing a map and include twitter notifications when changes have been made by another user. Here’s my screencast tour of MindMeister:
