Floorplanner is a design tool that allows you to build floor plans and add all the furnishings you’d need when designing a room or even an entire home. They have over 300 furniture and decorative items and they can all be re-sized, rotated, and the color customized. After saving your design, you can share it via email, export the image, create a link, or you can create a widget to put on your website or blog.
In the future, Floorplanner will provide “real” furniture that users will be able to purchase online. Here’s my screencast tour of Floorplanner:
