I know it’s been very quiet here on DemoGirl for the past few days, but I’ve been doing a lot of yoga and deep thinking lately and have begun to wonder just where I fit in this technology filled world. Just kidding! I got a new laptop – and with this new laptop I received Windows Vista. Now, I’m not complaining at all. I love my new machine and Vista is not the devil. I’ve just never gone through transferring files and software from one computer to another so it’s taking me a bit more time than I would like. Removing certain settings in Vista and figuring out what works best for me is also extremely time consuming. Since I have this lovely new laptop I decided to give Camtasia Studio v5 a try as well. I signed up for a free 30 day trial and if all goes well and nothing makes me want to pull out too much more of my hair, I’ll be upgrading at the end of the 30 days. These upgrades are not free though, so I want to make sure it’s what I really want to be using. I’d also like your input as to what you like and dislike about the “upgraded” screencasts.
So, please be patient with me and keep coming back to see the new and [hopefully] improved screencasts. I actually have two ready to go but I’m running into some problems in other areas. I don’t want to go off on a rant or bore you with the details so please just check back soon.
