I was at the park with my kids recently, and my daughter was immediately drawn to a cute, pig-tailed little girl.
The girl’s mother walked over to me and handed me her daughter’s business card. I guess this business of making playdates is a serious thing. I didn’t have anything but an old receipt to write our information on, so it’s no wonder the woman didn’t call me.

Thanks to a tip from Lifehacker, I can now head to the playground sporting flashy new business cards I created for me and the kids at BusinessCardStar.com. With this Web site you can quickly whip up business cards and print them at home.
The site is free to use and you don’t even have to sign up, unless you want to save your projects. If you are going to be printing a lot of cards, you might want to have BusinessCardStar do it for you. It looks like 500 one-sided cards will cost you about six cents each.

P.S. No, I didn’t really create business cards for my kids, but I am going to make some for myself.

Her daughters business card? I have never heard of that. What did it say. Did it have a calendar on the back? Wow. Anyway, great demo. Thanks. Good voice on the demo too. Smart. It’s my first time visiting.
I was getting kind of antsy about the time it will take to get my business cards, so I did a search to see if doing a couple at home might make sense to use at an event I’m going to tonight. BusinessCardStar might be what I’m looking for.
Hi Joe,
I’m glad you enjoyed the screencast.
Yes, this woman did have business cards for her daughter — I wish I had kept it . It was actually something like so and so’s playdate card. It had the child’s name, mother’s name and phone number and address. Kind of freaky:)
Regards,
Maureen
J’adore cette pub!
I once used vistaprint’s free business card offer. It was great. All I had to do was let them place their light gray logo on the back of my cards. Since then I have purchased cards from them and they are excellent quality. I would recommend this website, they do an excellent job.
I am interested in trying out the cards by printing a few.
this is what i was looking for but is there any way i can add a calendar on the back of the card can you tell how i can add a calendar
